Lockfast LF220 5 Minute Epoxy is a fast-curing epoxy adhesive, that consists of a 2-part resin and fast set hardener, designed for use in the mix pack cartridge and exhibits good room-temperature cure. This product is suitable for bonding metals and metal alloys, casting impregnating and potting, gap filling, trimming bonding, crack casting or hole repair, tools ornaments, knobs, ceramic, glassware, and fibreglass repairs.

Directions for use

1. Surfaces should be clean, dry and free from oil and grease.
2. Mix equal amounts of resin and hardener thoroughly for approximately 1 minute. Or use a static mixing nozzle (50ml cartridge only) for a more consistent and controlled application.
3. Apply to both surfaces and mate parts together. Hold or clamp for approximately 5 minutes.

Mixing ratio

1:1 by weight or volume.

Curing

Lockfast LF220 Epoxy System will cure down to 5°C although at this temperature a longer curing time than at room temperature (20-25°C) should be expected. The influence of heat is to accelerate the curing rate.
