Crestabond M7-04 Structural Adhesive is an off-white, primer-less, universal, 2-part methacrylate adhesive. M7-04 is designed for bonding composites such as GRP, FRP, carbon fibre, polyester, DCPD modified vinyl esters and gelcoats. M7-04 can also bond thermoplastics such as acrylic, PVC, ABS and metals such as stainless, CRS and aluminium.

One of the products within the Crestabond range of structural methacrylate adhesives is the M7-04. This 1:1 acrylic adhesive is tailored for challenging structural and environmental applications, thanks to its exceptional strength. Additionally, it provides robust environmental resistance against peeling, shearing, impact, and fatigue, making it ideal for industrial purposes.

Crestabond M7-04 is the adhesive with the quickest curing time in our 1:1 M7 range, with a working time of just 3-5 minutes and a fixture time of 12-15 minutes. The adhesive can be applied without a primer, bonding easily to different substrates such as composites, metals, and thermoplastics, which can help to expedite the assembly process.

This adhesive is ideal for precise and intricate applications, capable of filling gaps from 1 to 5mm. To achieve optimal outcomes, it is advised to apply this adhesive within a temperature range of 18 to 25°C and to use it promptly upon opening.

Directions for Use

1. Ensure that there are no traces of oil, grease or dirt on surfaces to be bonded.

2. Dispense the adhesive via manual or pneumatic dispensing gun

3. Dispense initially onto a non-bonding surface until the mixed bead colour is uniform.

4. Mate parts within the working time of the product and clamp properly to prevent joint movement.
