Bison Car Mirror

Bison Car Mirror is an anaerobic-based adhesive, with vibration proof properties, primarily used for adhering metal-based rear-view mirrors to car windscreens.

Working Conditions and Preparation

Do not use at temperatures below +15 ºC. At lower temperatures, heat inside of car (windscreen). Preliminary Surface Treatment: Make sure parts (windscreen and metal mirror base) are clean, dry, and free of grease. Remove all old adhesive- and tape residue. There should be no condensation on windscreen.

Directions For Use

Mark intended position of mirror on outside of windscreen. Attention: due to tension on windscreen, this should be the exact same position as before. Cut the enclosed mesh in form and size of mirror base. Apply adhesive from syringe evenly and generously on mirror base. Press mesh cut to size into wet adhesive and press mirror base to marked area. Hold firmly for at least 5 minutes. Any movement of mirror base during this period will result in a bad adherence. Let cure for at least 15 minutes before adjusting mirror position.

Points of attention

Car Mirror is an anaerobic adhesive, meaning that it is designed to cure in absence of oxygen, in combination with the impregnated mesh. Adhesive outside bonded areas will not cure due to presence of oxygen.

Stains/residue

Remove stains immediately with acetone.

Storage conditions

Store in a dry, cool, and frost-free place.
