Application
G74 is designed as a multi-purpose, instant-seal gasket maker to seal close-fitting joints between flanges and faces. Ideal for use on machined and rigid, metal flanges. Typically used as a form-in-place gasket, on rigid connections such as gearbox and engine casings, as it has a high oil resistance. The product cures when confined between close-fitting metal surfaces and provides resistance to low pressures immediately after assembly making it ideal for the testing of airtight seals.
How to Use
For optimum performance surfaces should be clean, dry and free of grease.
Apply several drops to one of the surfaces to be bonded, assemble and tighten as required.
To prevent the clogging of the nozzle, avoid the tip touching the metal surface during application.
