Application
G18 is designed for sealing close-fitting joints between flanges and fixed metal faces and will flex with minor movement from the flange. Cures when confined in the absence of air between close-fitting metal surfaces. The product provides resistance to low pressures immediately after assembly.
Ideally used as a form-in-place gasket maker for applications on rigid, flanged connections, along with a great contamination tolerance, ideal for usage on cast iron, steel and aluminium. Good gap cure making it useful in engine casings and gearboxes applications.
How to Use
For optimum performance surfaces should be clean, dry and free of grease.
Apply several drops to one of the surfaces to be bonded, assemble and tighten as required.
To prevent the clogging of the nozzle, avoid the tip touching the metal surface during application.
